What are we making? Who is it for? Where will it be used? We start with the purpose, the available material and the practical requirements.
For a website, that means thinking about content, structure and the user journey. For a visual identity, it means understanding the character and applications. For production artwork, it means checking size, material, deadlines and finishing.
You can come to us with a finished design, an initial concept or a problem that needs working out. We agree what needs to happen next.
02 / Make the idea work
Design, refine
and connect.
We develop the creative work with the intended outcome in mind. Typography, readability, proportion, rhythm and balance shape how a design is experienced.
We also think about the wider system. A logo should work across its applications. A website should feel consistent from page to page. Campaign artwork should stay recognisable across formats and locations.
Mees and Erwin bring complementary perspectives to that process. Creative choices and practical considerations stay part of the same conversation.
03 / Beyond the screen
A good file is
more than a PDF.
A design can look right on screen and still need attention before it is ready for production. We check both the technical file and how it will be made in practice.

A 10 × 5 metre graphic needs a different approach from an A4 document. Our checks reflect the application, rather than assuming every file needs the same treatment.

Large-format projects can involve dozens of files, sizes and components. A clear Production Approval makes visible what will be produced and what the client is approving.

An approval can be neutral or presented in your organisation's visual identity. It gives the people involved a shared reference before production starts.

05 / The next step, made clear
Prepared files.
Confident handover.
Once the artwork and requirements are agreed, we prepare the files for the next step. The output depends on the project: a website, an identity package, design artwork or a controlled set of production files.
For production, clarity comes first. Files, dimensions, panel arrangements and agreed specifications need to line up before the job moves forward.
Where recurring work is involved, we can also help with templates, standardised checks and a more efficient workflow.

What if our artwork is already designed?
We can take existing artwork through checking, adaptation and production preparation. We look at what is already in place and what is needed for the specific application.
Can approvals use our own branding?
Yes. Production Approvals can be brand-neutral or presented in the visual identity of your organisation. The purpose is always the same: clear, shared understanding of what is being produced.
Can you support our existing studio?
Yes. We can join an existing workflow, provide extra capacity and help with artwork, technical checks or production preparation. Depending on the project, that can be remote or on location.
